As many of you know I was crushed by my recent DNF at the Badwater 135 Ultramarathon due to getting a virus in the days leading up to the race. My inability to finish has weighed on me heavily and I know I wasn’t able to bring my best possible self to the start line.
I am hoping to have the opportunity to return to the race in 2026. As part of that, I am raising money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation to show I am committed to running this event. My goal is $7,500 by July 27, 2026. I’m not typically one to ask for money and I do not want to take away from any other charitable giving that you may already do, but if you have $1 to spare, every cent counts!
I am also taking donations via venmo and zelle, so if you would rather donate through there, just send me a message!

Every dollar that is donated will go directly to charity. Nothing will be going into my pocket or to pay for any expenses related to my return to the Badwater 135. Whether or not I get into the race, all of the money will be donated to charity!

The Badwater 135 is a very difficult race to get into. I submitted my application for the 2025 event and was one of only 100 runners selected. Due to my DNF, I would like to show even more dedication to doing this race by raising money for one of the Badwater 135 preferred charities. This will hopefully better my chances to get into the race and allow me to bring my best self to the race start!

My eternal love and appreciation. Also, I will carry a printed flat version of you for at least a mile (probably more) during my journey!

Whether or not I meet my goal, 100% of the donations WILL be going to charity.
